How do we teach young people how to give messages in the congregation and teach the Bible?
Are the hurricanes in the US an act of God?
Asher writes, "If that is the case, no matter whether your politics are right or left, and no matter what you may think of US President Trump or Vice President Pence, then calling for a day of national prayer can be nothing but a good thing."
Asher writes, "Do you know what the word for “ministry” is in Hebrew? There isn’t one. One way to say it is simply “serve.” No one “has a ministry.” You just serve."
Asher writes, "We see today the rather absurd phenomenon of people claiming to have spiritual authority and anointing, primarily by giving themselves titles and publishing advertisements about themselves in social media."
Asher writes, "As believers in Yeshua and the God of Israel, we should be fearless and courageous. Cowardice is not part of our character, because it is not part of the character of God."
Yeshua taught us to pray that God not lead us into temptation. So does that mean that God does in fact lead us into temptation? I've avoided this subject for years because I didn't want to believe it, but the Word of God suggests otherwise.
Asher writes, "Perfection is like getting to the end of a road, finishing your race, achieving your goal, getting to your purpose, reaching your destination or fulfilling your destiny."
You can accomplish more with your ministry by combining your energy with that of others, even if it means putting your goals second to those of others.
Asher writes, "How we love the fruit of the spirit! – love and joy and all that good stuff. It is the very personality of God within us. There’s one fruit of the spirit at the end that seems to be less talked about: self-control."
